ANYTHING GOES CHALLENGE

The last challenge this year, and as the titel say you can do anything you want ,this time.
Isen`t that fantastic !!

I desided to use one of the shrines - and prepared it by adding gesso all over inside and out .
When dry, I sprayed with Infusions Sleight Blue, on the background , and also painted the top wall with Chestnut Brown.
In the bottom, I added crumpled tissue paper, to form a hill, and painted it with white.
I added dry moss ,and larch branches to the hill top, and painted the branches with a little white ,to look as if snow landed there.

Two sizes of Christmas trees, were painted first with gesso, and then added texture paste. Also 4 little snowflakes were painted white. A bigger one with the Metallic Antique Gold ,and the same for the
Happy Christmas, words. Both snowflake and the words, had two coats .

A  greyboard deer was painted with Chestnut brown mixed with a little white , -gold details were added to its bag, and ears.... and also around the Christmas tree`s shapes.

I newly was very inspired by a post somewhere, (cant find it now, and therefore can`t give credit to the one showing it) but she created icicles using a hot glue gun, and I had to try it on this , I managed to make some hanging from the ceiling , they were also painted white.

The last things to do, was adhere trees, dear and snowflakes to the shrine. The words were adhered on top of white painted lace , and tiny cones from nature to the hill .

Now if you want to have a chance winning this wonderful voucher .

you please go to the page : http://thatscraftychallenges.blogspot.dk/ read the rules, and create from your hearth .
Wishing you all a merry Christmas

LOVE

We have a wonderful Challenge over at :

called : This the Season ( Everything Christmas Related )

And as you can see I went all in with a Golden Christmas !

For me Christmas is all about the message of love,

And I started this with a MDF Panel, -painted it white, then used the most beautiful tree Stencil , Bare Tree. I used a mix of brown and white paint and carefully painted through the stencil. After I used Texture Paste , and one bubble from the Bubbles stencil, to create Christmas baubles hanging in the tree.

While left to dry I painted the greyboard snowflake, dove, and text, with
the gorgeous Metallic Bronze. On top of the snowflake I used another Dinky Stencil :Bubbles,
to create texture, and on the one wing of the Dove yet another : Feather.
They were both used with Texture paste, and left to dry.

The tree now dry ,was in some places given Crackle paint, and again left to dry.The baubles painted with the bronze, and the dove and snowflake, as well. I mixed green and black to add to the bough of peace, and to inside line the love-text .Snowflake had little dabs on the tips, and the whole perimeter of the panel was dabbed ,too. To the dove it was painted into the wing pattern.
After the tree had dried it was overpainted with thebronze, again, showing lovelt crackles. I added torn lace -one of my favorite materials - to the lover left part of the panel, adhered it, together with a piece of dried moss from nature and a piece of fur, making a warm nest for the dove.

All bits were then adhered , to panel and a sari silk ribbon attached after making two holes, with my Crop A Dille.

I hope this gave you appetite to create a Christmas piece for the challenge, also,
the  voucher , would be a lovely gain , to use in January .

Have a wonderful weekend, dear friends.

QUIET  STRENGTH

Challenge : - Green with Envy (make green the main colour)
Green is the color of hope , we say in Denmark, and of springtime, and beautiful nature, when on it`s fullest in summertime . Even in winter we bring inside the beautiful green Christmas tree .
So this CHALLENGE over at : http://thatscraftychallenges.blogspot.dk/  ,is filled with possibilities for you to take part .

My example , is a very simple creation, using one of the White Greyboards  panels , smeared over with Green, mixed with a little Yellow ,---- the lace was adhered after dry, and also painted with the mixed green/yellow  . when dry I used the Light Texture paste over the Feather stencil, - using white mixed with a little chestnut  brown  .

Also a little amount of the wonderful Texture Sand paste was smeared onto the panel on top of the feather , and left to solid dry.
On a piece of craftpaper I stamped half the Affirmation from Lynne`s set 4 ,cut it out and adhered it to the top panel ,using a green fineliner , to line out the perimeter.
Chestnut Brown paint was diluted with water, and with my finger smeared over the feather , and the perimeter of the tag. Also to the lace , was added a little, to give shadows of interest.
The texture paste was over painted with the beautiful Pearl paint, and a piece of nature bark was adhered to right side panel .

Now , if this gave you a desire, to create your own Green challenge piece, and maybe win this  Voucher– all you have to do is hope over here :  http://thatscraftychallenges.blogspot.dk/ to read the rules, and create your own art piece .

DANCE ON THE BREEZE OF LIFE

One of Lynne`s amazing Affirmations, which I used, to create for this weeks challenge
over at  :  http://thatscraftychallenges.blogspot.dk/  .

The CHALLENGE is STENCILS  , and wow, so many possibilities with all the stencils to choose from over at Laura`s shop :   http://www.thatscrafty.co.uk/

I started with a White Greyboard  tag
sprayed with Sleight Blue , when dry I added Vintage photo to the perimeter, and highlighted also in between with the Salty Ocean, and Teal , then stenciled the beautiful Dinky stencils ,Bubbles, and Fossil, using different Oxide Inks.

The Hummingbird, and feather were both stenciled onto prepared cardstock
fussy cut, and after details were painted with fingers, also using Oxide inks, and fine liners
black and brown.
Lynne`s wonderful Affirmation, was stamped onto old paper, cut up and adhered to tag, with bird and feather.- a piece of colored lace first added to the top tag !!
In the bottom tag,  a great new medium Texture Sand Paste was smeared out, and painted with diluted and mixed paints of Chestnut Brown and White . Also around the fossils , feather, and bird ,I painted this .

When all dried, I adhered remnants from the sea, picked up, on my walks from the beach,
here is cord and seaweed together with a straw .

You know you can take part in this challenge, yourself, with the possibility to win the price of this Voucher.

Just pay a visit there, to read the rules , and send in your wonderful creations !!

CHALLENGE : FLORAL FANCY- (EVERYTHING FLOWERY )

I`m here with my Friday challenge , to show you my idea of a FLORAL FANCY .

http://thatscraftychallenges.blogspot.dk/

I used a White Greyboard panel ,which I first sprayed with Infusions
to male a airy background.
All the Bits and Pieces Grayboard pieces :
Funky Flowers, Fairy, and Hummingbird , were painted with white acrylic, and the flowers and bird were run through the Big Shot inside a Sizzix embossing folder, and after I smeared
Distress Oxide over them, using my finger, and 3 different Oxides (see below)

The leaves were painted with the same paint and Oxides, and the tiniest fairy , and bird too.
Along the lower edge I added Texture paste , mixed with green paint , through the Dinky Stencil : Leaves , to add a feeling of fallen leaves . When dry I smeared a bit of Vintage photo onto them here and there.

Lynne`s new beautiful Affirmation , from Set 6 was stamped onto a piece of old book page.
Around the panel I gave the frame a little Vintage Photo, too, and then adhered some vintage lace died with Infusions, and Teal Multi Surface Paint, both on top and button to the panel, giving an idea of clouds and green filed.

All the bits were adhered with All Purpose Craft Adhesive ,  I created details with a black Fin e Liner, and a white Posca pen .
With the Metallic Paint Pearl I also gave a little shine to the flowers , the bird and the fairy wings .
Looking at my work table, just in front of me were some Hot Glue Gun "pearls" from an earlier work, and they fitted as little decoration for the flowers after having been painted, too .
The last thing to do, was adding water to White paint, and by "hitting " the pen carefully ,over the panel, making  a little snowfall !!

This is my try - I really hope you also want to give this great challenge a try, as we all love flowers, Don`t we !!!!!!

The Challenge runs for two weeks, so plenty of time,-- and as many of you know , by now, there is a great premium of 20 Pound to use in Laura`s shop, for the winner
 :

I wish you good luck, and a wonderful weekend !!

GET YOUR SPOOK ON :-)

HELLO CHALLENGE !!!

We are going to get spooky ,lol habe a closer look here, on all the other DT`s spooky creatione :

I used a little panel , painted it first with green and white paint,
left to dry, and then mixed brown and white, to as very light brown/beige tone, which was painted
all over the surface .
Onto that I smeared a thin layer of glace, left it to dry and then with the thinned brown paint,
painted all over the surface, --- left do dry to create crackles !!

Then I stenciled first the Harlequin using brown Archival Ink,     Coffee  --and then
the 12 o`clock from the Cog Clock stencil.-- the craw background and
Flight of the Bats  all with Archival Ink Jet Black

I found a dry rose branch,  and still with two thorn `s- adhered it together  with
some dried nature straws, to the right side panel, making it look as if one craw just landed in the nest.

I had some tiny pumpkins , very mini , from a flower shop, which I adhered
together with 2 scratches of black fabric , and a piece of tulle swiped around the panel to give texture .  You could use tiny pinecones , or other nature finds , as substitute for the pumpkins !!! Two rhinestones were attached to the tulle on top, and to the "flower" .
Jet Black ink was dabbed onto all edges !!

I hope you like my not too spooky panel :-)

And I hope you will play ,and have the great chance to win

FOREVER AUTUMN

Yes Autumn is really here , and this new challenge
over at That`s Crafty Challenge Blog , asks for your creations
about  FOREVER AUTUMN , isen`t it a lovely titel !!

http://thatscraftychallenges.blogspot.dk/2017/09/forever-autumn-challenge.html

My own contribution started onto a Rounded  corners panel , which I
first sprayed with a very thinned Infusion in Terracotta ,left to dry and oversprayed
with Sleigh Blue, also thinned a lot.

After dried I dabbed with Distress Oxides  : Vintage Photo with a little
Iced Spruce on top here and there . The beautiful Dinky Stencil Spider Web was used in the
upper left corner , using Iced Spruce ,and in right corner I added a thin layer of
Distress Crackle paint ,Clear Rock Candy , and left to dry .

Embellishments were painted with the lovely new Multi Surface Paint ,
in Green - Red- Chestnut Brown and yellow, to try capture the
wonderful autumn tones.

The tall flower also had a coat of the Crackle paint and so did the butterfly and one of the toadstools .

After it had all dried I smeared Distress Ink Walnut stain onto the crackled places, and wiped off the extra ink .

I felt something was missing in the lover part of the panel and used
another great Dinky Stencil : Harlequin , also with the Iced Spruce.
Not too easy to see here , sorry !!

Then all the Embellishments were adhered ,onto scraps of lace
some dyed with the Infusions , -- the Butterfly and toadstools got copper thread
details ,to highlight a bit , and tiny cones from the wood were added too.
If you want to see details, just click the pictures :-)

Thank you if you followed me to here, dear friends ,

You know there is a gift waiting for you, if you take part in the
